Frequently Asked Questions

How do I join the society?

New memberships must be sponsored by one or more existing members, and is subject to board approval. The proposed member must hold a valid email address, and must supply the information that is required by the Alberta Societies Act.

The sponsoring member should write to the board at iodoca-board at intranet.org to sponsor (ie. vouch for) the new member and provide the requirements of the Act (name and address of proposed member). The board decides and then issues (or not) the email account and membership. A welcome email will be sent.
